Well Are These Adds Scams Or not?
There have been web page articles saying that this type of software is a scam, while they blindly promote it on their sites ads, like the ones on the left. While saying they have no control over the ads when they really do. Then someone in the defense of the software Mainly affiliate marketers like myself say that "NO this is not a scam". Most really not knowing what the satellite PCTV software really does or how it works. However, I'm going to give you the details on how it works and both sides of the "scam or not scam" argument so you can decide for your self wether to purchase Satellite TV software or not.
The Arguments :
- PCTV software works by scanning the internet for television channels that you could technically find using your browser.
- The use of up to Thousands of channels. Up to could mean 1 or 4000.
- Why if you can do the same thing as the software do you need it.
The Answer: Yes the argument is correct. But, lets delve into the details more closely.
The TV for PC software scans thousands of web sites for TV channels that you can find by browsing the web yourself, YES. But, then you have to bookmark each site and catalog each channel and show. Do you really have time to search and bookmark thousands of pages just to watch TV or would you like it done for you all in one place?
What Exactly does this PC satellite software do?
Let's start by saying, when you bought your computer did you think it was a scam that it came with an operating system (windows) you paid for. You could have easily searched the web and gotten a free operating system like UNIX. The operating system is nothing more than an interface between you an your computer. Which makes it easier for you to use the programs like games, the internet,spreadsheets,etc.. TVPC software is the exact same. Probably, you'll never have time to search and bookmark thousands of pages just to watch TV. So TVPC software does this for you and places it all in a nice easy to use interface.
In Summary:

Lots and lots of companies out there today offer PCTV software. The technology is basically the same for all.. Just the implementation is different. It's kind of like web browsers, they all accomplish the same tasks but with different quirks unique to each.
